About Trailblazer allstars cheerleading academy
Where it all began...
Trailblazer Allstars was founded in October 2011 with just a handful of cheerleaders in each of our 2 teams. Over the years the teams have grown and the Trailblazer family has expanded. Now, over 7 years later, the club has over 150 cheerleaders across our Tiny, Mini, Youth, Junior and Senior teams. As well as our numbers growing, so has our athletes confidence and skill level. We are so thankful to have such an amazing set of athletes to work with every week who make our job as coaches so fun and rewarding. In 2015, some of our Senior athletes were selected to represent the United Kingdom at the European Cheerleading Championships in Zadar, Croatia. Also in 2015, they competed as 'Team UK' in Berlin at the Cheerleading World Championships in November - A massive honour for Trailblazer Allstars. Recently our Senior Level 6 Stunt Group represented the United Kingdom and BCA at the ECU European Cheerleading Championships in Vienna. (July 2016). After competing in Germany (June 2017), our Senior All Girl Level 6 team secured themselves a bid to the World Cheerleading Championships 2018 in Orlando, Florida - Our biggest achievement to date and a dream come true. In April 2019, our International Open All Girl Level 6 team consisting of 15 athletes flew out to Orlando to compete. Before competing the team trained at world renowned gyms such as Top Gun and Brandon Allstars, teams which our girls have looked up to for years. The team hit a clean routine and 'hit zero' meaning they received no deductions and progressed through to the finals the next day on their own merit in 11th place. As if things couldn't get any better, the team performed another fantastic routine in finals which took them up a place into 10th place. Trailblazer Allstars International All Girl Level 6 are now 10th in the world - an incredible achievement and a dream come true! Meet our STAFF:

Programme Director and Head Coach, Gina Williams:
I have been involved in cheerleading for over 20 years as a cheerleader and as a coach. Throughout my cheerleading career, I have competed across the country and around Europe representing the United Kingdom in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Slovenia at the European Cheerleading Championships.
I have also performed at events like Channel 4’s ‘The Games’, World Snooker Championships, World Table Tennis Championships, celebrity/charity events and professional league football and rugby matches which have been televised in front of crowds as big as 26,000.
I represented the UK for the first time in Florida in 2013 at the Americheer International Championships where the team won first place. I returned to Florida in 2014, 2015 and 2016 to the USASF World Cheerleading Championships, the biggest competition in Cheerleading to represent the United Kingdom after gaining a place on the team through a tough audition.
I am qualified through USASF and also received Masters Level through NCSSE. I coached cheerleading at Wickersley School and Sports College and other cheerleading teams for around 6 years before setting up Trailblazer Allstars. I have undergone a full and current DBS check.
I have previously worked in primary and secondary schools around Rotherham and Sheffield specialising in cheerleading, dance, street dance and gymnastics. I also previously worked full time at Wickersley School and Sports College as School Games Organiser/Primary PE Specialist within the Wickersley Cluster. I recently left this job to concentrate on Cheerleading.
In more recent years I have lead Trailblazer Allstars to National, European and International success and our International All Girl Level 6 team are now ranked 10th in the world 2018 after competing at the 2018 World Cheerleading Championships in Orlando, Florida.
My most valued and proudest achievement I have to date is the set of fantastic people who have all adopted Trailblazer Allstars into their lives and made this club mean absolutely everything to me.
I set up the club in 2011 in a small church hall with around 9 members; we now stand strong as an army of 150+ committed athletes, parents, committee members and coaches – and I couldn’t be prouder.
Together, not only have we built a successful cheerleading programme, but more importantly we have built a family of committed, confident, valued, hard working, dedicated people who all work together towards one common goal. They support each other and genuinely want the best for each other. They inspire me everyday and I am unbelievably proud of every single person who is part of Trailblazer Allstars. You make everything worth it.
I look forward to see what the new season brings for all of our teams! The Trailblazer athletes are my proudest achievement of all. I love my Trailblazer Family! #fortheloveofmyteam
